I have lost the signal/network coverage, what should I do?
What is Vectone Mobile?
To configure the network manually, find the Vectone Services option. It should be available under the main menu (Android) as Vectone Services or USIM Toolkit or under Settings > Telephone > SIM Applications on your iPhone. On this screen, you will find two options – Automatic and Manual. Select “Manual” followed by “Em portugal”. This should allow your phone to reconnect to the network.

How can I get a Vectone
Vectone Mobile is a pre-pay service offering low call rates for local, national,
and international calls, plus savings on SMS and roaming. Vectone Mobile is part
of the Vectone Group of companies, a respected international phone network
What does the Vectone
mobile starter pack contain?
To benefit from the savings Vectone Mobile offers, you need a Vectone Mobile SIM
card. You can get a Vectone Mobile SIM card by ordering a starter pack here or from
the many shops showing the Vectone Mobile signage. The starter pack is free, but
you will need to top-up to start making calls.
How do I use my Vectone
The starter pack includes a Vectone SIM card and an information booklet to help
get you started.
How can I activate
1.Remove the Vectone Mobile SIM card from its holder and insert it in your mobile.
2.Turn your mobile on.
3.Add credit by purchasing multifunctional vouchers in-store or online to enjoy
4.Don’t forget to register your SIM within 30 days to fully activate your SIM and
avoid suspension of service.
What if I do not activate
my SIM within 30 days?
To activate your SIM, simply register online
or fill in the form included in your SIM Pack and post it to Vectone Mobile, Largo Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, 16, 1200-369 Lisboa, Portugal. Alternatively, call our customer
service at 126.
How can I check my Vectone
You have 30 days from the day you first inserted the SIM in your mobile to register
your SIM and activate it fully while continuing to use the service. After the 30-day
period you will not be able to use the SIM anymore until you activate your SIM.

Can I use my existing
From your phone press *105# send. Your number will automatically display on screen.
How many days will
it take to transfer my existing mobile number to my new Vectone SIM?
You can opt to keep your current mobile number and use it with your new Vectone
Mobile SIM. Simply follow the following indications.
Do I need to dial
an access number when calling abroad?
The transfer of your existing number to your Vectone mobile will take until 6 working
Where can I top-up?
No – simply dial direct. The call savings you make will be handled when Vectone
Mobile routes the call to your destination.
How do I transfer
the top-up value to my account?
You can purchase multifunctional top up vouchers from shops displaying the Vectone
mobile sign. Alternatively, you can top-up here using your credit card.
Simply register your details with My Vectone to access your account information
and add credit online. Register now
How can I check my
Once you have purchased a multifunctional top-up voucher from a shop, simply key in *101*
followed by the 10-digit PIN number, found on the back of the multifunctional voucher, followed
by the # key, and press call. Alternatively, dial 123 and follow the instructions.
How can I retrieve
From your phone simply key in *102# followed by pressing the call key. Your credit
balance will automatically display on screen.

Can I send MMS?
Dial 200 from your Vectone Mobile or +351 923290126 if you are abroad. All voicemail
messages (whether played, unplayed or saved) will be automatically deleted after 30 days.
How much will it
cost to make a phone call?
Multi Media messages (MMS) allow you to send pictures and audio such as a video
clip or animation. Unfortunately, you cannot currently send MMS when using your
Vectone Mobile SIM. We are working hard to bring you this service in the near future.

prices depending on which time or day I am calling?

Are there any roaming
charges if I go abroad?
No. You will be charged the same price regardless of the time or day you make a
What does Smart Roaming
Outgoing calls will be charged at set rates dependent on the country and network
the call is made from and to.
How do I sign up
for Smart Roaming?
To find out your call rate to any destination while you’re roaming outside of Portugal simply key
in *108* followed by the recipient’s number followed by the # key, and press the call button. The
per-minute call rate from your current location will automatically display on your mobile screen.
What is the difference
between Regular Roaming and Smart Roaming?
This is done automatically for you when you use a Vectone Mobile SIM. It’s not a
service that is available to customers of other networks.
What are the advantages
of using Smart Roaming over Regular Roaming?
Simply using your phone for calls and texts while travelling abroad like you do when in Portugal
(your home country) is Regular Roaming. Smart roaming is a new innovative feature from
Vectone which you can use to make outgoing calls while travelling abroad by sending us a
special request by dialing a code on your phone (USSID Message). To see how smart roaming

Where can I use Smart
Smart roaming has two main advantages:
1. It is much cheaper to make outgoing calls using smart roaming, compared to regular
roaming. Compare the rates and decide for yourself
2.Smart roaming is available in all destinations. Even in the countries were you
cannot make outgoing calls while on roaming.
Do I need to set
up my phone every time I travel?
You can use smart roaming almost anywhere in the world. All you need to make sure
is that your mobile phone is properly configured for roaming and you are connected
to a local mobile network.

same for Regular Roaming and Smart Roaming?
